A CFR t-shirt in England

“I’m sitting outside Sunderland Uni’ on the river Wear, Northumberland”
writes CFR listener Justin Benn, who lives in Alnwick (home of Harry Potter’s castle) in Northumberland and is completing his MA in Media Production, Film and Video at Sunderland University. Through CFR, Justin and I also discovered that we have mutual first cousins!
And have you put yourself on CFR’s Frappr map?

The CFR hoodie: the choice of multi-taskers everywhere

See Ryan Naraine. Ryan is wearing a CFR hoodie purchased at the CFR CaféPress store. Ryan looks hot.

Now see Ryan Naraine sitting at the computer. Ryan is wearing a CFR hoodie. Ryan looks hot — and productive. (So hot and productive, in fact, that you can almost ignore the fact that he’s using a PC.) Judging from the look of deep concentration on his face and the earbuds in his ears, Ryan is probably not listening to CFR (which, after all, hasn’t released an episode in weeks). More likely he’s trawling the web for cricket news for the West Indies Cricket Weblog, while listening to some other more regularly updated podcast.

CFR t-shirts in Alaska!

Always knew CFR had fans in far-flung places, but here are the t-shirts to prove it!
Listener Wendy Warnick took this photo of Fairbanks, Alaska residents (L to R) Andy Reynolds, Cindy Wentworth and Mason Damrau sporting their Caribbean Free Radio apparel during a rehearsal of the University of Alaska Fairbanks’s UAF Steel Drum Band (”The Northernmost Steel Drum Band in the World”).
Fairbanks has a vibrant community of steel pan fans and players, and steel pan music is often on the menu at the city’s annual Summer Arts Festival.

CFR listener Andreas Ekberg, who divides his time between Sweden and New York, received his CFR t-shirt today in Stockholm. He also promises to send photos of his CFR mug when he receives it!
While you’re at it, check out some of Andreas’s designs, which include cool fonts, e-cards and other artworks, wearable and otherwise.

CFR tee on a Genius
He’s championed the show on the Evil Genius Chronicles, and now he’s wearing the shirt. Where would CFR be without Dave Slusher?
CFR tee runs 10K
CFR listener Russ Johnson ran a 10K in San Francisco last week, and guess what was part of his kit? Yup–a CFR t-shirt!
For copyright reasons I can’t post the photo here, but you can see the fleet-footed Russ flying the CFR colours by visiting this link.
CFR tee @ Crobar

A CFR tee in D.C.

CFR’s #1 Beltway-based listener, Christiana B., braved the hordes of tourists near the White House to get this one. Thanks, Christiana!
