I expected a similar process for an expired ID card. I walked up to the red line, announced it was expired and placed the polling card, my passport, DP and expired ID on the table (photo down) - I didn't know what they wanted, but I figured every kind of official photo identification would help. They found my name on the list, read out a declaration re lost IDs and gave me a ballot paper. They NEVER checked any of my proffered IDs to see if I was indeed who I said I was. I could have been anybody with my polling card. Anybody. At all. There was no ledger with photos. Nothing. Sigh.

But yes, noon was an excellent time to vote down by us too. No lines at all, and parking if we had chosen to drive.

Please don't way for another coup to visit northern California.

With such persistent purple ink, I suppose there's no reason to distribute the 'I Voted' stickers in T&T?
