Here I am, Vernon, “ratch-blogging” again (if you don’t know what “ratch” means — or is it spelled “wratch”? — ask one of your Trinidadian friends. Have no Trinidadian friends? Our loss, I’m sure):
- Hot off the presses at Global Voices, Nicholas “Nikipedia” Laughlin writes about the Guyanese blogosphere’s response to the election which took place yesterday.
- And Rebecca MacKinnon reminds us that Thursday is Blog Day, and suggests ways we can “spread the blog love”.
- Last week, Jeremy Taylor posted his analysis of Trinidad and Tobago’s new draft constitution. Read it and weep. Or better yet, read it and make some noise!
- And Attillah Springer continues to wage war against philistinism, which appears, this time, in the form of a cynical senior editor. Go, Dread!

We are all relieved that you are back after your unauthorized vacation. Your powerbook ( now named tinkerbell) says hello and says she had a lovely time covering the elections in Guyana and especially enjoyed digitizing video to send home.
