I have too many things going on at the same time, but in the background I think I hear the Minister of National Security saying something lame on Gayelle, and my friend Janine Mendes-Franco tells me that Prime Minister Patrick Manning phoned in a report to CCN TV6 News saying something to the effect that crime was a worldwide problem. Huh? (Or should that be “Duh!”?).
C*POP, who had to go into Port of Spain this evening, reports that there’s lots of traffic everywhere, Mucurapo Road was blocked off, as was Carlos Street in Woodbrook (though C*POP can’t fathom the reason for the latter).
